Advanced Nurse Unit Manager SA Health - Southern Adelaide Local Health Network Bedford Park Full-time, Ongoing Position

Salary: $137,464 - $143,282 per annum (Pro Rata) RNM4

Southern Adelaide Local Health Network – Flinders Medical Centre – Mental Health is seeking an Advanced Nurse Unit Manager.

This role offers a significant leadership opportunity to influence patient care, team performance, and health service delivery within a complex clinical setting. As a senior nursing leader, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the provision of safe, high-quality, and person-centred care. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, provide expert clinical guidance, lead and support staff, champion continuous improvement, and ensure efficient resource utilisation to achieve optimal patient and client outcomes. About You:

  • Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with a minimum of 3 years of post-registration experience.
  • Must be enrolled in an approved mental health course or possess a qualification in mental health practice.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with others to influence, gain trust and respect, and achieve co-operation and support.
  • Experience supervising students, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses and/or midwives.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, including highly developed skills in communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation.
  • Experience in the financial and asset management of a ward/unit.
