Location: Eight Mile Plains Work Type: Full-time Salary: $6306.00 - $6611.60 per fortnight Work Setting: Onsite

This role presents a significant executive nursing leadership opportunity to shape the future of community-based healthcare by directing Metro South Health@Home's Acute Care@Home and Community Hospital Interface Program (CHIP) services.

Your New Role:

  • Lead the strategic and operational execution of innovative Hospital in the Home and hospital avoidance services designed to enhance patient outcomes and healthcare sustainability.
  • Provide executive nursing leadership encompassing clinical governance, workforce capability, financial performance, quality improvement, and service innovation.
  • Spearhead the design, implementation, and evaluation of contemporary, evidence-based care models, while guiding organisational change and achieving key performance outcomes.
  • Cultivate robust partnerships with executive leaders, multidisciplinary teams, and external stakeholders to deliver integrated, person-centred healthcare across Metro South.

About You:

You are a seasoned nursing leader who blends strategic foresight with operational effectiveness to deliver exceptional healthcare services and motivate high-performing teams.

  • Extensive senior nursing leadership experience within complex healthcare environments, including expertise in governance, operational management, and service improvement.
  • Demonstrated capacity to lead large multidisciplinary teams, manage substantial budgets and resources, and achieve strategic organisational objectives.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills, with the ability to forge collaborative relationships across executive and clinical domains.
  • A commitment to innovation, workforce development, and evidence-based practice, with a proven record of leading transformational change and improving patient outcomes.
