Altaira Services seeks an Enrolled Nurse to join our team, providing care within aged care facilities across Sydney metropolitan areas. This is a casual, onsite position.

What You'll Do:

• Deliver high-quality care aligned with care plans, facility policies, and ANMC standards.
• Provide personal care and support to meet residents’ physical, emotional, and environmental needs.
• Administer medications safely and within your scope of practice.
• Follow directions from Registered Nurses and escalate clinical concerns as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Communicate clinical updates clearly and confidentially to relevant stakeholders.
• Practise within your scope, ensuring accountability and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge through ongoing professional development.
• Provide supervision and guidance to staff, volunteers, and students as required.
• Support the induction of new and agency staff.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and quality care initiatives.
• Build positive relationships with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Report incidents promptly in line with reporting requirements.
• Act as senior staff member on shift when required, including responding to emergencies.
• Follow Quality Management and Work Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Identify and report workplace hazards to maintain a safe environment.
• Uphold strict privacy and confidentiality standards at all times.
• Undertake additional duties as required within your scope of role.
