About Us: Our 30-bed acute medical ward caters to a complex patient demographic. We manage patients with chronic conditions across Renal, Respiratory, and Gastroenterology specialties. The ward operates at a high clinical and professional standard, consistently pursuing quality improvements for the benefit of both staff and patients. Our patient population presents with a range of conditions including, but not limited to, COPD, Asthma, CKD, Diabetes, CCF, Cystic Fibrosis, Tuberculosis, Liver Disease, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Diabetes, and Cancer. All Enrolled Nurses within our team will work towards developing the skills required to care for these disease groups.

About Your Role: Your responsibilities will include:

• Management of Intercostal Catheters
• Respiratory support, encompassing Non-invasive ventilation and High flow nasal prongs
• Paracentesis management
• Cannulation and phlebotomy
• Discharge planning in consultation with the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT)
• Management of patients undergoing Peritoneal Dialysis
