Kennedy Drive Medical Centre and PKG Medical Centre are leading general practice clinics situated in Tweed Heads. These practices operate under the management of Cyfed Medical Group Pty Ltd & The Trustee for the Ifedورو Family Trust, a group with significant experience in healthcare provision. The medical centre offers a comprehensive suite of services, encompassing general practice, pathology, and allied health, all conveniently located within a single facility.

An opening is available for a driven and diligent Enrolled Nurse to become part of our established general practice at Kennedy Drive Medical Centre and PKG Medical Centre in Tweed Heads, NSW. This is a casual position, commencing immediately.

Essential Skills/Qualities:

• Enrolled Nurse holding APHRA registration. Registered Nurses may also be considered.
• A minimum of two years of nursing experience.

Role Duties:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, all general practice nursing duties such as:

• Administering child and adult immunisations.
• Providing wound care for both chronic and acute conditions.
• Performing ECGs.
• Conducting INRs.
• Carrying out health assessments.
• Managing infection control protocols.
• Overseeing stock control.
• Performing ear syringing.
• Taking and recording patient history for triage purposes.
• Setting up for and assisting doctors with minor procedures.
• Managing vaccine orders.

Knowledge of accreditation standards is favourable.
