An opportunity exists for an Enrolled Nurse to join Gold Coast Health (GCH), a team of 14,000 dedicated to delivering world-class healthcare to residents of the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring fair treatment, mutual respect, and understanding for patients and colleagues.
• Active participation in a delegated Quality Portfolio.
• Adherence to reasonable instructions provided for workplace safety.
• Implementation and monitoring of organisational quality standards and occupational health and safety policies.

About You

To be considered for this position, you will need:

• Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
• A NMBA-approved qualification in medication administration. Completion of 519HLTEN A, B or C, or 007HLTEN will be highly regarded.
• Evidence of vaccination, or the ability to be vaccinated and remain vaccinated against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Hepatitis B.
• Tuberculosis screening to determine if vaccination is required.
• Disclosure of any serious disciplinary history.
• Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees, with the cost covered by GCH.

This is a permanent part-time position with a base salary ranging from $37.92 to $40.25 per hour.

The Jasmine Acute Adult Unit is situated at Gold Coast University Hospital, Robina Campus. It is designed to provide a safe and therapeutic environment, offering high-quality, specialist acute inpatient mental health services for adult consumers aged 25 to 65 years.
