Location: West Wyalong Salary: $153,629.36 - $156,478.31 per annum, pro rata, plus salary packaging Work Type: Permanent Part-Time On-site: Yes

About the Role

As the Facility Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational delivery of services at West Wyalong Hospital. In this part-time, job-share position, you will lead your team and proactively oversee continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and achieve better health outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership to ensure the delivery of evidence-based care within contemporary practice models.
  • Ensure governance processes are established, including timely and appropriate responses to incidents, complaints, and risk management.
  • Lead and manage processes that drive quality outcomes, patient safety, and support continuous improvement, evidenced by key performance indicators, outcome measures, patient and staff surveys, and audit results.
  • Manage the efficient use and coordination of physical and financial resources to maximise expenditure towards health outcomes.
  • Ensure plans are in place to promote business continuity and prevent potential service disruptions.
  • Lead by motivating and managing teams, applying change management strategies to address challenges in community and rural health service delivery.

About You

  • Current, unrestricted authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership or management role within a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
