Employment Details: Permanent Full or Part Time, up to 38 hours per week. Position Classification: Assistant in Nursing Remuneration: $63,250 - $69,397 per annum, pro rata, plus superannuation. Requisition ID: REQ674399 Location: Kyogle, NSW Work Type: Part-time, onsite

About the Role

As the Assistant in Nursing (AIN) Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator, your responsibilities will include coordinating the resident activities program. You will be part of a dynamic and friendly multidisciplinary team, undertaking the planning, organisation, implementation, and evaluation of this program. The program will feature both individual and group activities designed to maintain or improve resident abilities, and to promote independence and wellbeing.

This site is also participating in a Research Project focused on enhancing the resident dining experience. Desired outcomes include setting the scene for dining to encourage conversation and enjoyment, a focus on resident participation in meal preparation, and an increase in outdoor dining opportunities.

The Multi-Purpose Service (MPS) model operates in smaller communities, integrating acute care and emergency, respite and palliative care, and allied, primary, and community health services under a single management structure.

Kyogle is situated in the scenic Northern Rivers region of NSW, renowned for its natural bushland, sub-tropical National Parks, and the Clarence River. The Gold Coast and Brisbane are accessible within a three-hour drive.
