Lifestyle Assistant

Lifestyle Assistant Maryborough District Health Service Avoca Part-time, Onsite

This permanent part-time role involves 35 hours per fortnight.

The Lifestyle Assistant will foster resident independence and encourage participation in diverse, meaningful activities tailored to individual needs, goals, and preferences to enhance quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and inclusive lifestyle and wellbeing programs.
• Provide personalised one-on-one support to residents.
• Assist in the development, review, and evaluation of wellbeing care plans.
• Ensure all residents and stakeholders receive an exceptional experience.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support holistic resident wellbeing.

Essential Qualifications and Checks:

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle; or Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing).
• Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations and 2026 Flu Vaccination.
• NDIS Clearance Check.
• Children's check.
• Current and Valid Driver's Licence.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.

Appointments are subject to a satisfactory National Police Check and Working with Children Check. NDIS Workers Screening will be required for workers identified as working within a risk-assessed role.
