Midwife SA Health - Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network Adelaide SA $77,824 - $114,917 p.a full-time onsite

The Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network is seeking Midwives for ongoing, full-time positions in Whyalla. Multiple positions are available.

The base salary ranges are:

  • $77,824 - $106,187 p.a for RN/M1
  • $90,913 - $114,917 p.a for RN/M2C

Appointment classification will depend on qualifications and experience.

As a Midwife, you will provide safe, high-quality care to women and families across various healthcare settings. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and coordinate care, support positive health outcomes, and contribute to health promotion, education, and quality improvement activities. Depending on your experience level, you may also offer guidance and support to students and less experienced staff while delivering person-centred, evidence-based care.

About You:

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of midwifery practice, in accordance with professional standards.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to person-centred care.
  • Leadership and mentoring experience, including supporting students and less experienced staff, will be highly regarded for senior applicants.
