The Nurse/Midwife Educator Emergency is responsible for promoting safe, evidence-based practice, bridging the gap between policy and practice, and cultivating a positive workplace culture that supports high-quality patient and client outcomes. Through collaboration, mentorship, and project leadership, the role contributes to continuous improvement and the delivery of effective emergency care across the network.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Are you committed to evidence-based practice, innovation, and continuous improvement, using research and contemporary knowledge to enhance learning outcomes?
  • Do you enjoy leading projects and collaborating across teams to improve education, workforce development, and emergency care services for regional communities?

If you have answered yes to any of these questions, we encourage you to apply.

Your Contribution:

  • Lead and deliver high-quality emergency nursing and midwifery education programs, including teaching, assessment, clinical education support, and workforce capability development across regional and local services.
  • Coordinate and support learning and professional development initiatives for clinicians, students, and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring contemporary, evidence-based practice is embedded into clinical care.
  • Drive education projects, service improvement activities, and change management initiatives that enhance workforce capability, patient outcomes, and organisational performance.
  • Provide expert clinical and professional leadership, acting as a mentor, consultant, and trusted advisor to managers, educators, and clinicians on professional practice, workforce development, and education strategies.
  • Promote best practice through research, innovation, and continuous improvement, integrating current evidence into education programs and supporting the development of a positive, safe, and high-performing clinical culture.
