Salary: $144,991 - $151,949 + 12.75% super per annum Work Type: Full-time Location: Onsite

An opportunity exists within Gold Coast Health (GCH) for a Nurse or Midwifery Manager (Clinical Informatics). GCH, a team of 14,000, is dedicated to delivering world-class healthcare to the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales region.

This position may also be filled by a Health Practitioner, as detailed in the attached role description.

The Role

As a Nurse or Midwifery Manager (Clinical Informatics), you will:

  • Apply advanced knowledge of allied health clinical work practices to the development, implementation, and evaluation of new work practices and digital hospital functionality.
  • Actively engage with staff across all disciplines regarding digital health, supporting the advancement of a digitally enabled health system.
  • Support Gold Coast Health clinicians and administrative staff in their adoption and use of digital health technologies.
  • Influence training initiatives to ensure staff capability that will facilitate the adoption of digital clinical workflows.

About You

To be successful in this position, you will require:

  • A Bachelor of Nursing/Midwifery or equivalent.
  • AHPRA Registration.
  • A master's or higher qualification within a relevant area is highly desirable.
  • Evidence of vaccination, or the ability to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Hepatitis B.
  • Tuberculosis screening to identify if tuberculosis vaccination may be required.
  • Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed.
  • Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover the cost).

Salary Details

This role is available as permanent full-time and temporary full-time (one permanent position and one temporary position, up to 12 months with the possibility of extension). The base salary ranges from $144,991 to $151,949 per annum.
