NURSING & MIDWIFERY TALENT POOL - QUEENSLAND HEALTH

Department of Health - Queensland is establishing a Nursing & Midwifery Talent Pool. This pool will be used to consider candidates for opportunities within Queensland Health's Hospital and Health Services.

Queensland Health delivers high-quality healthcare and is seeking experienced Nurses and Midwives from Australia for roles within its health services. Queensland Health operates 16 hospital and health services located in metropolitan, regional, rural, and remote areas throughout the state.

The roles will be distributed across the following 16 Hospital and Health Services:

  • Cairns and Hinterland
  • Children's Hospital Queensland
  • Central Queensland
  • Central West
  • Darling Downs
  • Gold Coast
  • Metro North
  • Metro South
  • Mackay
  • North West
  • South West
  • Sunshine Coast
  • Torres and Cape
  • Townsville
  • Wide Bay
  • West Moreton

To be considered for the talent pool, applications are welcomed from Enrolled and Registered Nurses, including Nurse Practitioners, with experience in a wide range of specialities for both full-time and part-time positions.

Essential requirements for consideration include:

  • A minimum of 12 months of relevant clinical experience within your area of expertise.
  • The ability to provide registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Information is available on the AHPRA website.
  • A relevant qualification in Nursing and/or Midwifery.
  • The ability to provide vaccination evidence.
  • Australian Working Rights.
