Personal Care Worker Infinite Care Caravonica Part-time, Onsite

Infinite Care is seeking a Personal Care Worker to join our team in Caravonica. We are committed to providing industry-leading resident care and services that promote resident independence within a companywide safety-first workplace. Our Personal Care Workers are highly interactive, supporting elderly residents, their families, and colleagues seven days a week across morning, afternoon, and night shifts.

This role involves close collaboration with nursing, hospitality, and resident engagement teams to deliver resident-centric care in a timely and compassionate manner. You will be supported by highly skilled and senior carers and managers.

We are looking for individuals who are highly empathic, possess a strong work ethic, and are passionate about making a difference in the lives of the elderly.

Requirements:

• Ideally, one year of demonstrated working experience in the Aged Care sector.
• A passion for a career that makes a difference and a willingness to help deliver quality care services daily.
• A very positive teamwork attitude, being a trusted co-worker, excellent time management (essential for our shift-driven workplace, including handovers), and adherence to strict safety procedures at all times to maintain a high standard of workplace safety.
• Computer literacy, including email, Word, and navigating in-house training platforms.
• Excellent workplace safety awareness to prevent resident incidents, acting as their "extra eyes and ears."
• Qualifications in Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) OR completion of the Diploma of Nursing with an aged care placement OR currently a 2nd-year nursing student with a placement. Other Cert III courses in related healthcare studies are recognised. Industry work placement will be required to meet compliance standards.
• Hold the NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, which is essential for working in the Aged Care sector, or be willing to obtain it.
