Personal Care Workers (PCWs) at Infinite Care engage closely with our elderly residents, their families, and colleagues, providing support seven days a week across morning, afternoon, and night shifts. This position, based in Carbrook, involves close collaboration with nursing, hospitality, and resident engagement teams. You will perform resident-centric care duties with timeliness and compassion, supported by highly skilled and experienced senior carers and managers. Specific job duties and accountabilities are detailed in the attached position description.

Key Requirements:

• Ideally, one year of demonstrated working experience in the Aged Care sector.
• A passion for a career that makes a difference and a willingness to contribute to delivering quality care services daily.
• A very positive teamwork attitude, functioning as a trusted co-worker, with excellent time management skills (essential for our shift-driven workplace, including handovers) and adherence to strict safety procedures at all times to maintain high workplace safety standards.
• Computer proficiency, including email, word processing, and navigation of in-house training platforms.
• Excellent workplace safety awareness to prevent resident incidents such as tripping or falling; acting as additional eyes and ears for resident safety.
• Qualifications in Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) OR completion of the Diploma of Nursing with an aged care placement OR current enrolment as a 2nd-year nursing student with a placement. Other Cert III courses in related healthcare studies are recognised. Industry work placement may be required to meet compliance standards.
• Possession of an NDIS Workers Screening Clearance is essential to work in the Aged Care sector, or a willingness to obtain one.
