An engaging opportunity exists for a Registered Midwife to become part of the Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) in Innisfail. This position centres on delivering continuous midwifery care throughout the entire maternity experience, encompassing antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal phases. The role involves working within a caseload model, supporting women and their families from pregnancy through birth and into the early parenting stages. Midwives in this capacity are tasked with providing safe, high-quality, and evidence-based care, cultivating robust therapeutic relationships, and encouraging informed decision-making.

About your role:

• Manage a specified caseload of women within the MGP framework.
• Provide comprehensive antenatal, labour, birth, and postnatal care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community services.
• Support culturally safe care, with particular attention to rural and diverse populations.
