Altaira Services is seeking a Registered Nurse for casual, onsite work in Sydney, NSW.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with Altaira/client policies, ANMC standards, and professional codes.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised care plans to optimise client outcomes.
  • Coordinate, implement, and evaluate care plans and service outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support client needs and review care.
  • Maintain accurate, compliant, and timely clinical documentation.
  • Practise safely within scope, ensuring accountability and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge through continuous professional development.
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and support to Enrolled Nurses, PCAs, and volunteers.
  • Assist with staff orientation, training, development, and performance support.
  • Support student placements and induction of agency staff.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and quality care initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, staff, and management.
  • Escalate incidents and ensure timely reporting in line with client requirements.
  • Act as senior nurse on shift when required, including emergency response.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and Work Health & Safety standards.
  • Undertake additional duties as required within the scope of the role.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse qualification.
  • AHPRA registration.
