Registered Nurse (Part-Time, On-site) Arcare Kanwal

Salary: Above award rate + Super, with a 3% annual wage increase. Shift penalties apply where applicable.

About the Opportunity: Arcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for a maximum term contract covering night shifts at our Kanwal location. This part-time, on-site role offers job security within a growing organisation and a positive workplace culture supported by strong leadership.

Your Responsibilities: As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to promote positive resident outcomes, in line with Arcare's values, policies, and professional clinical standards.

  • Clinical Care: Conduct health assessments, monitor vital signs, and manage medications.
  • Wound Management: Assess, treat, and manage wounds, implementing preventative measures against infection.
  • Care Planning: Develop and implement individualised care plans based on resident needs.
  • Assessment & Documentation: Maintain precise clinical records and document resident changes using eCase.
  • Pain Management: Identify and address pain concerns through appropriate strategies.
  • Emergency Response: Provide effective responses to medical emergencies.
  • End-of-Life Care: Offer compassionate palliative and end-of-life support.

What You Will Bring:

  • Current AHPRA Registration (essential).
  • A solid understanding of Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
  • Adaptability, passion, and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong capabilities in teamwork and collaboration.
  • Friendly, professional, and effective communication skills.
