Registered Nurse Arcare Sunbury Part-time, On-site

A new Aged Care Residence is anticipated to open in September 2026. Multiple positions are available for Grade 1 and Grade 3 Registered Nurses. These are permanent part-time roles with options for AM and PM shifts. A minimum of 3-4 consecutive days of availability is required for this role.

Remuneration: $38.56 - $56.41 per hour, plus Superannuation and Shift Penalties where applicable. A minimum 3% wage increase is applied annually.

About the Role As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care aimed at promoting positive resident outcomes, in alignment with Arcare’s values, policies, and professional clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Care: Provide high-quality nursing care, encompassing health assessments, vital signs monitoring, and medication management.
• Wound Management: Assess, treat, and manage wounds, with a focus on infection prevention.
• Care Planning: Develop and implement individualised care plans designed to meet residents’ specific needs.
• Assessment & Documentation: Maintain accurate clinical records and document changes using eCase.
• Pain Management: Identify and address pain concerns through the application of appropriate strategies.
• Emergency Response: Respond effectively to medical emergencies.
• End-of-Life Care: Offer compassionate palliative and end-of-life support.

What we’re looking for:

• Current AHPRA Registration (essential)
• Sound knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards
• Adaptability, passion, and eagerness to learn
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Friendly, professional, and effective communication abilities
