Calvary Mater Newcastle is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Outpatient Services team. This role involves providing safe, effective, and appropriate patient care within a patient-focused ambulatory care setting. You will collaborate across the Medical Centre, Radiation Oncology, and Day Treatment Centre, contributing to high-quality care delivery across various service areas.

Employment Details

• Positions available: Permanent Full-Time (Part-Time will be considered).
• Salary Classification: Registered Nurse Year 1 - 8.
• Remuneration: $37.48 to $52.62 per hour + super + annual leave loading.

Selection Criteria (Essential)

• Registered Nurse authorised to practise by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Minimum 12 months recent experience in cancer nursing or an acute care setting.
• Graduate Certificate in Cancer Nursing or similar, or willingness to work towards one.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment, including during periods of high demand and competing priorities.
• Demonstrated well-developed communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.

Pre-employment Conditions

• Must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a visa with unlimited rights to work in Australia.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment checks, including reference checks, work rights verification, criminal history check, and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Must provide evidence of immunisation as required for the role.
