Village Medical Centre Mount Gambier Part-time, Onsite

Village Medical is seeking a Registered Nurse or an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our clinical team. This is a permanent part-time role with potential to increase to full-time hours as the practice expands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centred care within your scope of practice.
• Provide clinical nursing care, including:
• Wound management.
• Chronic disease management and care planning.
• Health assessments.
• Immunisations.
• Intravenous therapy (where applicable).
• Paediatric and neonatal assessments.
• Assisting with procedures.
• Support health promotion and preventative care initiatives.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate effectively with GPs, nurses, and administration staff.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, positive, and professional workplace.
• Registered Nurses may provide clinical guidance and support to Enrolled Nurses where appropriate.

About You:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse.
• Previous general practice experience is highly regarded.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Professional Indemnity Insurance.
• Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, team-focused attitude with a commitment to high-quality patient care.
• A passion for ongoing learning and professional development.
