About the Role: The Casual Food and Beverage Attendant will ensure the smooth operation of the bar and venue across Saltwater and the wider Cultural Precinct. Key responsibilities include providing friendly service, preparing beverages, assisting with venue setup and pack-down, and ensuring patrons have a safe and welcoming experience.

Responsibilities:

• Open and close venue and bar areas, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for service.
• Set up furniture for functions and conferences.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, process payments, and verify customer identification.
• Monitor and replenish bar supplies, reporting any stock deficiencies.
• Clear tables, maintain clean service areas, and support overall venue cleanliness.
• Deliver excellent customer service for theatre shows, community events, music events, business events, and food and beverage functions.

Requirements: Alignment with the City’s Values and demonstration of the following competencies are expected:

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a customer-facing hospitality role.
• Availability to work weekends and evenings.
• A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to support the team.
• A passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Pre-employment Requirements:

• Current C Class drivers licence (desirable).
• Proof of the right to work in Australia.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).

Hours and Conditions: This is a casual position. Working days and times are expected to vary, including day and evening shifts, and weekends.

Remuneration: Up to $47.10 per hour, inclusive of a 24% casual loading.
