Job Description

Crystalbrook Sam is set to open in Adelaide, seeking experienced, energetic, and people-focused hospitality leaders to contribute to a distinctly memorable establishment. Two primary leadership roles are available: Food & Beverage Manager and Venue Manager.

These positions are designed for confident hospitality professionals who understand the fundamentals of exceptional service and are open to innovative approaches, not bound by traditional methods. Crystalbrook Sam seeks leaders who blend professionalism with personality, curiosity with confidence, and warmth in all interactions with guests and team members.

At Crystalbrook, luxury is defined as thoughtful, intuitive, connected, and characterful, rather than formal or extravagant. Food and Beverage leaders will be integral to establishing this experience from its inception.

The Opportunity As a member of the opening leadership team, you will be instrumental in bringing Crystalbrook Sam’s food and beverage vision to fruition. Whether overseeing the broader food and beverage operations or managing a signature venue, your responsibility will be to cultivate elevated experiences that are effortless, authentic, and uniquely Crystalbrook.

You will lead with energy, care, and credibility, inspiring a team of Collaborators to deliver outstanding guest moments, achieve commercial targets, and ensure operational excellence. Simultaneously, you will foster a workplace culture that is positive, purposeful, and full of potential. This is a unique chance to participate in a hotel opening, where your leadership, insights, and enthusiasm will shape the guest experience from day one.

About You You are an experienced food and beverage leader with a genuine passion for hospitality. You possess a strong understanding of service, quality, pace, commercial objectives, and team leadership, recognising that the most memorable experiences are born from personality, connection, and meticulous detail.

Your enthusiasm extends to wine, food, guest experiences, and the art of creating lasting memories. You are naturally engaging, commercially astute, and comfortable leading teams within a premium hotel, restaurant, bar, or lifestyle hospitality setting. You lead with quiet confidence, warmth, clarity, and accountability, rather than ego. You are energised by new ideas, willing to thoughtfully challenge conventions, and excited by the prospect of building something from the ground up.

You Will Bring

  • Demonstrated experience in food and beverage leadership, preferably within a premium hotel, restaurant, bar, or lifestyle hospitality environment.
  • A passion for wine, beverage, food culture, and elevated guest experiences.
  • Strong people leadership capabilities, including the ability to coach, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Commercial acumen covering revenue, cost control, labour management, stock control, and profitability.
  • A guest-first approach, with an innate ability to create warm, genuine, and memorable interactions.
  • Robust operational discipline, attention to detail, and a calm, solutions-oriented demeanour.
  • The confidence to think innovatively, respectfully challenge existing practices, and enhance the guest and team experience.
  • Energy, resilience, and adaptability, particularly in pre-opening or fast-paced settings.
