ALH is seeking a driven, floor-focused Assistant Manager for the Pacific Pines Tavern, a high-volume suburban venue on the Gold Coast. This role is for a hospitality professional ready to lead operations in a fast-paced, community-focused environment. The Pacific Pines Tavern experiences high trade across its bistro, bar, gaming, and retail operations, requiring a leader with sharp operational instincts to maintain high standards and deliver excellent hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build rapport with local patrons.
• Support the Publican in ensuring smooth, safe, and positive venue operations.
• Develop Publican skills while leading a team.
• Proactively address and resolve operational issues.
• Consistently deliver energy, service, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Inherent Requirements:

• This is a hands-on role requiring manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties, such as moving stock, kegs, and deliveries.
• Applicants must be able to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About You:

• Experience in bar, bistro, or gaming operations, with some supervisory experience desirable.
• Ready to step up, having learned from previous management roles.
• Possess the confidence, pride, and people skills to represent the pub when the Publican is absent.
• Hold a current RSA/RSG, RMLV, and Approved Managers Licence as required by state regulations.

Salary: Attractive Salary + Super + Half-yearly bonus
