ALH is seeking a driven, floor-focused Assistant Manager for the Wynnum Tavern. This is an opportunity for a hospitality professional to lead operations in a vibrant, high-volume venue within the Wynnum area. The Wynnum Tavern is a busy community hub, catering to families in the bistro, patrons enjoying live sports in the bar, and managing premium gaming operations. The ideal candidate will be adept at maintaining high standards and delivering excellent hospitality in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build rapport with local patrons.
• Assist the Publican in ensuring smooth, safe, and positive pub operations.
• Gain experience in Publican duties while leading a team.
• Proactively address and resolve operational issues.
• Contribute energy, service, and a positive attitude to every shift.

Inherent Requirements:

This is a hands-on role that includes manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties, such as moving stock, kegs, and deliveries. Applicants must be able to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About You:

• Experience working in bar, bistro, or gaming room environments, with some supervisory experience being a possibility.
• Ready to advance your career, having learned from experienced managers.
• Possess the confidence, pride, and interpersonal skills to represent the pub in the Publican's absence.
• Hold a current RSA/RSG, RMLV, and Approved Managers Licence as required by state regulations.
