Royal on the Park is seeking an experienced Banquet Operations Manager to contribute to one of Brisbane's most recognised properties. Situated in the CBD, directly opposite the Botanic Gardens, Royal on the Park boasts a rich heritage. Role Expectations:

• Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager, Conference & Events team, and Sales & Marketing team to execute weddings, conferences, and events with a distinct approach.
• Support the Food & Beverage Manager in achieving operational and financial targets.
• Oversee profit and loss through adherence to cash control and security protocols, inventory management, labour oversight, and the review and creation of financial reports.
• Guide, instruct, and mentor Banquet Operations team members.
• Facilitate reward and recognition initiatives within the department to sustain employee engagement and motivation.
• Manage all departmental activities and events, both pre- and post-event.
• Liaise with clients prior to, during, and following events to confirm operational details and logistics.
• Deliver guest service and manage complaint resolution.
• Uphold accurate service standards and positive guest relations, ensuring product offerings meet company quality benchmarks.
• Ensure compliance with the Work Health & Safety Act and company safety and security policies.

Requirements:

• A forward-thinking individual capable of leading and nurturing our cohesive team.
• A leader who fosters relationships between front-of-house and back-of-house operations to enhance team coordination and excellence.
• Experience in a comparable role within a hotel setting is preferred.
• An individual who can enhance our current operational model, personalise it, and drive operations forward in the coming years.
