Delaware North is seeking a casual Bar Attendant to join the team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin NT. This onsite role involves supporting bar operations and delivering guest service.

About the Role

As a Bar Attendant, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing all cash and credit transactions during your shift.
• Ensuring opening or closing checklists are completed and filed appropriately.
• Maintaining a clean bar environment and confirming equipment functionality.
• Verifying stock rotation and conducting stock checks.
• Informing guests about different liquor types, brands, products, characteristics, and prices.
• Maintaining knowledge of in-house wines, spirits, and current specials or promotions.
• Handling bar food orders and serving beverages in the correct glassware, with accurate alcohol measurements.
• Recording all spillage and wastage, and ensuring correct disposal of items.

About You

We are looking for candidates with:

• A minimum of 2 years of bartending experience.
• Required cocktail knowledge and making experience.
• High attention to detail concerning personal appearance and hygiene.
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Service of Gambling certificates.
• Availability to work up to 76 hours per fortnight across a 7-day roster.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings/nights, and public holidays.
• Availability for an in-person interview on site from next week, if selected.
