Bar, Gaming and Retail Team Members

Cowboys Leagues Club Limited is a prominent entertainment and hospitality provider in Townsville, Queensland, serving as the social hub for the NQ Toyota Cowboys. We are seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our team in a casual, onsite capacity at our Townsville venue. Whether you have experience with bar service, excel in retail, or are eager to enter the customer service field, we encourage you to apply.

Available Roles:

  • Bar Attendants: Provide friendly and efficient service in our Sports bar, gaming area, or Star Graze area, contributing to teamwork and maintaining a comfortable and clean environment for guests and members.
  • Gaming Attendants: Create a comfortable and welcoming experience for members and guests within our gaming lounges.
  • Merchandise Assistants: Greet supporters and fans at The Team Shop, our Official Cowboys Merchandise store, and share information about products and upcoming promotions.
  • Kids Room Attendants: Ensure the safety and create a fun, enjoyable environment for "Little Legends." A Working with Children - QLD Blue Card is required for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver excellent customer service in all interactions.
  • Handle cash and operate point-of-sale systems in gaming, bar, and/or dining areas.
  • Ensure adherence to liquor licensing and relevant regulations.
  • Actively participate as a positive and collaborative team member.
  • Maintain the highest standards for products, services, and solutions for all members and guests.

Requirements:

  • A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to creating memorable experiences for patrons.
  • Experience is not a prerequisite. A can-do attitude and willingness to learn are valued, as we will provide the necessary training.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling friendly and efficient service.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work effectively under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Must possess a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and/or Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG) certificate, or the ability to obtain one following a successful interview.
  • Must possess a current Food Handlers Certificate, or the ability to obtain one following a successful interview.
  • Commitment to undertaking a National Criminal History Check following a successful interview.
