Happy Larry Deli is a vibrant neighbourhood establishment renowned for its specialty coffee, exceptional sandwiches, and popular matcha offerings across two locations in Hobart: a CBD laneway original and a Kingston store. We are committed to quality, consistency, and exceptional hospitality.

We seek an experienced Barista to become part of our team. This position will commence as part-time, with potential to evolve into a full-time capacity for a suitable candidate.

We are looking for an individual who:

• Possesses specialty coffee experience (essential).
• Can confidently calibrate espresso machines and ensure consistency during peak service periods.
• Excels in a fast-paced setting.
• Contributes positive energy and a sincere dedication to hospitality.
• Enjoys crafting memorable customer interactions.
• Collaborates effectively within a close team environment.
• Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and takes pride in each beverage prepared.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Consistently preparing high-quality coffee and other beverages, including matcha.
• Providing warm and authentic customer service.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station.
• Assisting the broader front-of-house team during busy times.
