Talent Connect Australia is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Barista for a contract position onsite in Sydney NSW. This role involves providing high-quality coffee services to internal and external corporate clients within a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a range of coffee beverages, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. You will engage with corporate employees and visitors, fostering a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee beverages to order, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and other specialty drinks.
• Ensure coffee machines and equipment are properly maintained and cleaned.
• Provide excellent customer service, greeting and interacting with corporate employees and visitors.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, restocking supplies as needed.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Assist with other related tasks as required by the client.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a barista in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and occasional evenings.
• A valid certification in food safety and hygiene is a plus.
