Cafe Attendant – City of Mandurah

Location: Mandurah Work Type: Casual Salary: $23.38 - $36.96 per hour (inclusive of 20% casual loading), plus superannuation. Rate dependent on age, qualifications, and experience. Vacancy Reference: 070/2026

The City of Mandurah Recreation Centre is seeking highly organised and enthusiastic individuals for casual Cafe Attendant positions. Successful applicants will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, a dedication to exceptional customer service, and a positive, methodical approach to work.

You will be expected to work collaboratively within a dedicated team. As the Centre operates seven days a week, availability for rostered shifts from Monday to Sunday, including early mornings, days, and evenings, is required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Food and beverage service
  • Cashiering
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Undertaking general cleaning duties

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced food industry setting.
  • Barista experience.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated numeracy, cash handling, and cashiering skills.
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • A current National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one.
