Malika Bakehouse, situated in Botany, NSW, is a bakery and café. It is part of Wondrous Entertainment, which operates four venues: Gina Barangaroo, Izgara in Sydney CBD, Malika Bakehouse in Botany, and Malika Bakehouse in Surry Hills. Wondrous Entertainment focuses on providing authentic and enjoyable experiences.

Malika Bakehouse is seeking a versatile café all-rounder for approximately 30 hours per week. This role is suited for an individual seeking responsibility within a venue that handles over 40kg of coffee weekly and serves an extensive brunch menu.

Responsibilities:

• Taking customer orders.
• Multitasking at the cash register.
• Carrying three plates and clearing tables.
• Managing ordering and stock control.
• Ensuring quality control and maintaining high standards.
• Occasionally opening or closing the café, including end-of-day reconciliation and reporting.
• Working effectively in pairs or independently.
• Utilising basic barista skills.

Skills and Experience:

• Ability to take customer orders.
• Proficiency in multitasking at the cash register.
• Capability to carry three plates and clear tables.
• Experience with ordering and stock control.
• Commitment to quality control and maintaining high standards.
• Experience with opening or closing procedures, including end-of-day reconciliation and reporting, may be required.
• Comfortable working in pairs or solo.
• Possession of basic barista skills.
