Wildflower Society is building a brand focused on elevated brunch, genuine hospitality, and strong operational standards. We believe hospitality should enhance the day for both guests and our teams. We are looking for a leader who can manage with warmth, accountability, and consistency, creating a venue the local community will trust and cherish.

This position offers the excitement of a new store opening combined with lifestyle benefits uncommon in many hospitality roles.

What We Offer:

  • A healthy work/life balance with daytime hours exclusively.
  • A convenient location in Hurstville with accessible public transport.
  • On-site parking available.
  • A 50% discount on all food and beverage purchases.
  • Unlimited complimentary coffee while on shift.
  • Established systems, training, and operational standards.

About the Role: As Cafe Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the store, foster a positive team culture, and ensure that every shift meets our standards for food, coffee, service, and hospitality. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being present on the floor, coaching their team, and cultivating a welcoming, consistent guest experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading daily store operations.
  • Building, training, and developing a high-performing team.
  • Managing service flow and the overall customer experience.
  • Maintaining high standards for food, coffee, cleanliness, and presentation.
  • Supporting rostering, stock control, and operational systems.
  • Handling customer feedback with professionalism and care.
  • Driving accountability, consistency, and strong team habits.
  • Collaborating with senior leadership for a successful store opening.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in café, restaurant, or hospitality management.
  • A genuine enjoyment of people and an understanding of excellent hospitality.
  • The ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team.
  • Confidence in managing a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Leadership characterised by warmth, professionalism, and accountability.
  • Attention to detail, standards, and consistency.
  • Organised, hands-on approach, and composure under pressure.
  • A desire to grow with a business that values culture, people, and quality.

Our Culture: The ideal candidate will naturally align with our values: doing the right thing, caring for people, remaining open to improvement, exceeding expectations, and understanding that consistency demonstrates care.

Application Instructions: If you are an experienced hospitality leader seeking a role with a strong culture, improved work-life balance, and the chance to be part of a new store opening, we encourage you to apply. Please submit your resume along with a brief note explaining why this role is a suitable fit for you.
