The Role As the Floor Supervisor, you will assist the Venue Management team in the daily operations of Café Loulou. Your responsibilities will include upholding exceptional service standards, providing outstanding guest experiences, and ensuring venue procedures are followed. You will contribute to smooth floor operations by supporting staff, ensuring efficient service, and maintaining high standards of venue presentation, cleanliness, and professionalism. The Floor Supervisor also has a role in developing junior team members and fostering a positive, high-performance team culture.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily floor operations, including opening and closing.
- Maintain high service standards and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Support, coordinate, and develop staff for efficient service and strong team performance.
- Prepare the venue for service through stock control, organisation, and cleanliness.
- Manage tills, resolve discrepancies, and complete end-of-day reporting.
- Ensure adherence to RSA, health, safety, and operational procedures.

Experience and Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years' hospitality supervisory experience in a high-volume venue.
- Proven leadership skills including experience in training, mentoring, and motivating teams.
- Strong knowledge of café and bistro-style service.
- Sound understanding of coffee, food, wine, and beverage service.
- Experience with cost control, rostering, and operational reporting.
