The Role Crown Casual Staffing (CCS), Crown Melbourne's casual workforce, is seeking Casual Chefs. CCS provides a unique opportunity to work across Crown's award-winning restaurants, bars, events, and culinary operations. Instead of being assigned to a single venue, you will have the flexibility to work in multiple outlets, experiencing different kitchens, cuisines, and service styles, while building a roster that suits your lifestyle.

As a Chef, you will create positive moments through genuine care and connection, guided by Crown’s 4Cs of Service Excellence—Be Courteous, Connect, Create, and Care—ensuring all interactions reflect our commitment to elevated hospitality.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and presenting high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.
• Supporting daily kitchen operations across various outlets and events.
• Maintaining exceptional food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
• Ensuring consistency, quality, and attention to detail in all food production.
• Collaborating with diverse culinary teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Contributing to a positive team culture and operational excellence across multiple venues.

What you will bring:

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (essential).
• Previous experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP requirements.
• Ability to adapt quickly and work across different kitchen environments.
• A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• A passion for delivering quality food and exceptional guest experiences.
