Casual Functions & Events Supervisor

The Fresh Collective is seeking a dedicated Casual Functions & Events Supervisor to become part of their expanding team. This role involves providing high-quality service and outstanding client experiences at notable Sydney locations and elite events, such as the Art Gallery of NSW and the Walsh Bay Precinct.

As a supervisor, your responsibilities will include supporting the Events Service Team in the day-to-day management of functions and events.

The Role:

• Receive event briefings from Service Department Managers before each event.
• Plan to deliver exceptional client and guest experiences across various functions and events, including cocktail parties, conferences, and sit-down dinners.
• Manage the service-related aspects of an event from setup through to service and pack down.
• Lead a team of experienced waiters and bartenders.
• Support and collaborate closely with the service management team.

Availability:

• Must be available Monday to Saturday, with Thursdays being essential.
• Hours will vary weekly depending on event schedules.
• Expected hours: 20–30 per week.
• Minimum availability required: 3 days/evenings per week.

Remuneration:

• Casual rate: Level 5.

About You:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in hospitality in a team leader or supervisor role.
• Strong communication skills and a can-do attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Possess a valid NSW RSA.
• Hold valid working rights in Australia.
• A passion for executing exceptional events.
