Cater Care is seeking a part-time Catering Assistant for its aged care residence in Ballina, NSW. This role involves contributing to meaningful mealtimes for residents, with a focus on delivering fresh meals and a positive dining experience. The position is part-time, offering 20+ hours per week.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the preparation of meals, salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified foods.
• Serving meals and snacks with friendly, resident-focused customer service.
• Supporting kitchen operations through dishwashing, cleaning, and maintaining a safe workspace.
• Replenishing stock and assisting with meal service and dining room set-up.
• Collaborating with the Chef and the wider team to deliver quality service.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience in hospitality, food preparation, or customer service.
• Enjoy working in a busy, team-focused environment.
• Understand food safety and hygiene practices.
• Take pride in delivering quality service.
• Have aged care experience (preferred).

To meet aged care requirements, successful applicants will need to hold a current annual flu vaccination and complete a National Criminal History Check.
