As a full-time Catering Attendant based in Sydney, you will be integral to crafting exceptional dining experiences for passengers on flights with leading international airlines. Operating within a dynamic commercial kitchen environment, you will join a collaborative team focused on ensuring all flights are adequately provisioned and prepared for service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing, portioning, and plating meals in accordance with visual presentation guidelines.
• Assembling meal trays to meet airline specifications and loading them into airline carts.
• Stocking airline carts with packaged food, beverages, and necessary equipment.
• Loading and unloading dishwashers, processing cutlery, crockery, and glassware to ensure they are clean and in optimal condition.
• Adhering to all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety policies, including HACCP, IFSA, and QSAI standards.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Full, ongoing working rights in Australia.
• The ability to successfully complete pre-employment checks, including a National Police Check and a medical assessment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, encompassing weekends and public holidays, and the capacity to remain standing for extended durations.
• A strong adherence to safety, hygiene, and compliance protocols.
• A team-oriented approach with a willingness to assist colleagues.
• Effective communication and fundamental numeracy skills.
• Basic knife skills (specific to the role).
• Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP is desirable.
