This full-time, on-site position is located in Kilmore, Northern Suburbs, approximately 30 minutes from Melbourne.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Catering Manager to oversee the retail and residential catering services for a co-educational college in Kilmore. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work hands-on with the team, utilising collaborative leadership and strategic planning to guide our dedicated staff. Your focus will be on continuous improvement in food quality, service standards, logistics, employee development, budget management, and exceeding client expectations through innovative residential, function, and retail food product and service delivery.
Hours will be varied, predominantly Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm or 11:30 am and 7:30 pm, with weekends required as needed. Some out-of-hours functions may necessitate flexibility in your working hours.

Requirements:
- Management experience in a related hospitality or food service industry.
- Very strong administrative skills.
- Hospitality focus and experience with cooking.
- Outstanding client service focus, demonstrated by superior communication ability.
- Certificates required: WWC, RSA, and Food Safety Supervisor.
- A driver's license.
- Strong business and financial management skills.
- Proven experience in managing people and challenging situations within a constantly changing and dynamic environment.
