Cafe Cibo Bar is seeking a talented and passionate Chef/Cook for a part-time, onsite role at our Cranbourne West location. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Monitor stock levels and ingredient quality, reporting shortages to management as needed.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service operations.
• Follow established recipes and cooking techniques whilst maintaining plating standards and presentation.
• Respond to special dietary requirements and customer requests with flexibility and professionalism.
• Assist in menu development and food preparation planning as required.
• Maintain equipment in good working order and report any maintenance issues promptly.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience working as a chef or cook in a professional kitchen environment.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility and reliability, with a strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Current or willingness to obtain relevant food handling and health and safety certifications.
• Passion for food preparation and a genuine interest in delivering great customer experiences.
• *Preferred:* Experience with modern cafe cuisine or contemporary cooking styles.
