Highfields Tavern is seeking a qualified, Full-Time Chef to join its busy kitchen team. This role involves preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced bistro environment, managing service lines, and upholding stringent food safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes.
• Contribute to a culture focused on safety and hygiene, prioritising the guest experience.
• Maintain consistent standards for high-quality, well-presented dishes aligned with ALH standards.

Requirements:

• Trade qualifications (Cert III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent) are essential.
• Full availability for a flexible roster, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• High-volume pub or bistro experience is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated speed, reliability, and a positive team attitude.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to perform manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g., moving stock, kegs, and deliveries) safely and efficiently.

You possess significant experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and hold the necessary trade cooking qualifications. You understand that an exceptional guest experience is a result of passion, precision, and productivity.
