Cleaning Team Leader

Cleaning Team Leader Village Roadshow Group Services Pty Ltd $28.14 per hour | Part Time Onsite, Oxenford, Gold Coast

The Opportunity Contribute to unforgettable guest experiences by maintaining the presentation standards of Wet’n’Wild. This position is responsible for ensuring front and back of house areas meet high visual and operational standards, while adhering to workplace hygiene procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and adhere to cleaning procedures, ensuring tasks are completed within required timeframes.
• Apply cleaning skills to maintain a clean and healthy environment for guests and team members.
• Report any issues impacting cleaning operations to your Supervisor promptly.
• Complete all necessary reporting and documentation in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate within a team to provide excellent guest service and foster a positive working environment.
• Finalise all relevant paperwork to support compliance and record-keeping processes.
• Conduct training and assess the competency of Team Members to support team development and mentoring.
• Regularly maintain and update cleaning checklists as required.
• Identify additional cleaning needs and delegate tasks accordingly.

What We’re Looking For

• Good working knowledge of cleaning processes and equipment operation.
• Effective communication skills, delegation, and guidance capabilities, supported by strong leadership skills.
• Self-organisation, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
• Guest service experience with effective communication skills.
• Experience and knowledge of hazardous substances.
• Certificate I & II in Cleaning is advantageous.
• Experience using biodegradable chemicals and awareness of Material Safety Data (MSD) Sheets.
• Demonstrated computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email systems.
• Ability to accurately organise, maintain, and manage files, records, and documentation.
• Rostering and workforce scheduling experience is advantageous.
• A current Open Driver’s Licence is required.
• Willingness to work across Wet’n’Wild, Movie World, Paradise Country, and Australian Outback Spectacular if needed.
• Availability to work weekends, school holidays, split shifts, and event functions as per business requirements, with shifts commencing as early as 4:00am.
