Venues NSW fosters integrated partnerships with sporting codes, the entertainment and event industry, audiences, local businesses, NSW Government agencies, and community groups. By leveraging internal resources and a broad employee skillset across its NSW network, the agency effectively delivers key projects and secures high-quality content.

About the Role

Reporting to the Tours Manager, this position involves coordinating and supporting the delivery of the SCG Tours Program, a prominent visitor experience in Sydney. The role is integral to ensuring guests receive engaging, informative, and memorable tours of the Sydney Cricket Ground, Allianz Stadium, the SCG Museum, and other unique venue attractions.

In close collaboration with tour guides, operational teams, venue stakeholders, and external partners, you will manage the daily operations of tours, handle bookings and customer inquiries, oversee group experiences, and contribute to the program's expansion through new tour offerings, partnerships, and visitor engagement initiatives.

About You

You are an organised, customer-centric professional adept at creating memorable visitor experiences and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. You excel at building positive relationships with diverse individuals, communicate with confidence, and can manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high standard of service.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in tourism, hospitality, events, business, marketing, or a related field (desirable).
  • Experience in tourism, attractions, hospitality, events, museums, cultural institutions, or similar customer-facing environments.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent organisational, administrative, and problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Experience managing bookings, customer enquiries, and booking or CRM systems.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and a passion for enhancing visitor experiences.
