We are seeking an enthusiastic Commis Chef and Barista to become part of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to orders, ensuring quality, presentation, and efficiency.
• Manage kitchen inventory, stock rotation, and ordering of supplies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment compliant with food safety standards.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff for seamless service delivery.
• Contribute ideas and effort towards enhancing the café's reputation.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience as a Chef or Cook within a café, deli, or similar establishment.
• Capability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced setting.
• Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Proficiency in time management and multitasking.
• Flexibility to work varying rosters, potentially including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery are preferred but not essential.
