Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food items as directed, including baking, pastry, and butchery tasks.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety at all times.
• Minimise food wastage through efficient preparation and storage practices.
• Follow all standard operating procedures and WH&S guidelines.
• Support senior kitchen staff and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Maintain professional grooming and presentation standards.
• Build positive relationships with colleagues across departments.
• Stay informed about food products and culinary trends.

What You’ll Bring:

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and WH&S practices.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and follow instructions.
• A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Formal culinary training or relevant certifications are desirable.
