Franquette Crêperie, established in October 2023, has rapidly gained popularity with both local patrons and visitors. Operating daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, our establishment offers authentic French galettes and crêpes, complemented by a seasonal menu reflecting the culinary inspiration drawn from French cafés and crêperies.

We are looking for a proficient and driven Cook to become part of our kitchen brigade in Bowral. This is a practical role centred on the preparation and cooking of various sweet crêpes, savoury galettes, and other dishes, ensuring high standards of quality, uniformity, and visual appeal.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items adhering to established recipes and service protocols.
• Contribute to food preparation and daily kitchen operational tasks.
• Oversee food quality and presentation to guarantee consistency.
• Uphold food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Assist with stock rotation and the proper storage of ingredients.
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen personnel to ensure smooth service.
• Provide support to the team during peak service times.

Requirements:

• A minimum of two years of experience as a Cook or in a comparable position.
• Capability to prepare and cook food within a high-volume kitchen setting.
• A solid grasp of food safety and hygiene principles.
• Ability to function effectively within a team structure.
• Keen attention to detail and a dedication to maintaining quality.
• An interest in French cuisine and a readiness to acquire traditional crêpe-making skills.

What We Offer:

• A salary range of $75,000 to $85,000 per annum, plus superannuation.
