Deckhand/Coxswain - Voyo Pty Ltd

Voyo Pty Ltd is seeking enthusiastic Deckhands to join our crew for a premium sailing operation in Main Beach. This casual, on-site role combines seamanship with guest service, requiring assistance with vessel operations and delivering an outstanding onboard experience for guests. We welcome applicants with backgrounds in marine, tourism, hospitality, or a combination thereof. Training and marine certification progression will be supported.

About the Role:

• Assist with vessel operations and deck duties.
• Manage mooring, lines, fenders, and general seamanship.
• Support food and beverage service, including preparation and plating.
• Assist guests throughout each voyage.
• Maintain the presentation and cleanliness of guest areas.
• Participate in safety drills and emergency procedures.
• Collaborate closely with the Master and fellow crew members.

Essential Requirements:

• AMSA GPH Near Coastal certificate, or a willingness to obtain one before commencement.
• Current AMSA Medical certificate.
• Current First Aid Certificate, or a willingness to obtain one.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Highly Regarded:

• Coxswain Near Coastal certificate.
• Sailing experience.
• Experience on tourism or charter vessels.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
• Food Handling Certificate.
• Barista or hospitality experience.
• Previous deckhand experience.
