The Opportunity

Alba seeks a skilled and experienced Demi Chef to support the Head Chef. This role involves assisting in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes, maintaining stringent food standards, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. The successful candidate will possess a genuine passion for cooking, strong culinary abilities, and the capacity to perform under pressure in a dynamic kitchen environment.

Flexibility in days and hours will be provided through a rotational roster.

A competitive annual salary plus superannuation is offered.

About You

• Holds a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or a Diploma in Hospitality.
• Possesses 2+ years of experience in a commercial kitchen setting.
• Demonstrates knowledge of food professional principles and practices.
• Is guest-centric, a team player, and maintains a positive attitude.
• Exhibits excellent personal presentation and strong communication skills.
• Is capable, reliable, and responsible.
• Holds valid visa or working rights for Australia.
• Is available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
