Location: Mitchell Park Work Type: Full-time Salary: $76,000 per annum, plus 12% superannuation. A 4.5% salary increase is scheduled for August.

The Hurley Hotel Group is seeking a full-time Duty Manager for the Marion Hotel. This is an onsite, salaried position. The Marion Hotel is a busy establishment with an outstanding reputation.

About the Role

This role offers the opportunity to expand your experience in both functions and accommodation. You will report directly to the Hotel Manager and Assistant Manager, working a rotating schedule of morning, afternoon, and night shifts.

As a Duty Manager, you will develop leadership capabilities essential for operating a large, diverse venue. Responsibilities include overseeing up to 60 staff during a shift, gaining knowledge of accommodation operations, and executing functions. You will also be involved in the hotel's unique events.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a hands-on, supportive leader possessing excellent customer service skills.
• Have 2-3 years of experience within the hospitality industry, including food, bar, gaming, or TAB.
• Possess prior experience as a Food and Beverage Supervisor or Duty Manager.
• Be career-focused, motivated, and eager to learn.
• Demonstrate the ability to think on their feet and possess strong problem-solving skills.
• Have a good eye for detail.
• Exhibit a "can-do" attitude.
• Ideally, hold a Gaming Manager and Responsible Person badge.
