Duty Manager The Brook Bar and Bistro Ellenbrook Full-time, Onsite
The Brook Bar and Bistro, a proud member of the Tenfold Hospitality Group, winner of the AHA WA's Best Group Venue Operator Award, offers a contemporary gastropub experience for up to 1000 patrons across multiple areas. Combining the spaciousness of a modern venue with the warmth of a neighbourhood establishment, The Brook features a family-friendly bistro, a recently updated beer garden with live entertainment, and an award-winning TAB sports bar equipped with numerous screens.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Duty Manager to become part of our team, which operates with a friendly, family-orientated approach. This is a hands-on position for an individual who excels in a dynamic hospitality setting and demonstrates leadership on the floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing daily operations across busy service periods.
- Providing support, motivation, and leadership to staff on the floor.
- Upholding high service standards and ensuring a positive experience for both guests and team members.
What We’re Looking For
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of two years' experience in a comparable role, have full availability, and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities. We seek an individual who is reliable, approachable, and confident in managing busy services while maintaining composure under pressure. Essential attributes include a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for the hospitality industry.

Skills and Experience
- Approved Managers Card / RSA/TAB Compliance
- Food Safety Hygiene Certificate
- Knowledge and understanding of bar and bistro operations
- Ability to manage a team
- Experience with stock control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for the Industry
- Experience developing the skills of Front of House staff
- Good track record of building team culture and leadership skills
- The ability to problem-solve and make good decisions in a busy environment
